The name comes from Hannah, meaning graceful. The story also tells of Anaïs being a goddess in ancient Persia. Anaïs Anaïs expresses the duality of the young Cacharel woman, both innocent and sensual.

Four perfumers worked together to develop this fragrance, taking the lily as the main theme, mixed with other white and green flowers to express freshness and purity.
The top notes are green and fresh with hyacinth and honeysuckle.
The heart is built around lily, accompanied by lily of the valley, rose, ylang-ylang and jasmine.
The base is woody, amber, and sweet. To accommodate this tender bouquet, a white opaline bottle adorned with a silver stopper inspired by antique perfume jars.
